Recognition of Parks Ranger Robert "Cruz" Suniga

Brazoria County Parks Ranger, Robert “Cruz” Suniga was recognized during Brazoria County Commissioners’ Court on August 22, 2017 for his swift and thoughtful actions during events on August 7, 2017 involving the tragic deaths of people at San Luis Pass.  Ranger Suniga, was off duty during the event, but rushed to the aid of bystanders, administered CPR, and offered aid and comfort to many at the scene who were involved in the ongoing rescue effort. His caring attitude and calm demeanor was recognized by many at the scene.

A Resolution was presented to Ranger Robert “Cruz” Suniga for his professionalism during a time of genuine emergency and to also to show thanks for his dedication to his job and those that we serve.
