It's all here...
From miles of sandy beaches, pristine bays and bayous, to bottomland hardwood forests, come experience the diverse and beautiful landscapes that Brazoria County has to offer. Also, there's great fishing, camping, paddling, and birding - all of which you can find within Brazoria County Parks.
Included in our park system are 10 parks, 23 miles of sandy beaches, 21 boat ramps, 2 RV campgrounds, historical homes, interpretive centers, day use facilities, playgrounds, a swimming pool, horseshoe and volleyball pits, and picnic areas. We also offer meeting room, cabin, dormitory, pavilion, and chapel rentals.
Brazoria County has partnered with the Texas General Land Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD), and the Brazoria County Fire Fighters Association to offer county residents the opportunity to remove inoperable and derelict vessels through the Vessel Turn-In Program.
If you're interested in participating in this program, and for further information, please contact the GLO between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 281-470-6597.
