Join the Brazoria County Historical Museum on Thursday, November 9, at 6:30 p.m. as it hosts author Nicole Telkes for her book Medicinal Plants of Texas: A Guide to Locating, Growing, Harvesting and Using Plants in Texas and the Deep South.

Telkes will discuss her book, Medicinal Plants of Texas, which serves as a guide to locating, growing, harvesting and using plants in Texas and the Deep South.  There are many books on Texas plants available; however, none had plants’ medicinal properties listed until now.
