The semi-annual sale features books, audiobooks, and more – materials withdrawn from the collections of the twelve branches throughout the county, and items donated by the public.
Items sell for $1 or less. Money from the sale is used to support the summer reading program and other exciting library projects. Cash and checks are accepted.
The sale begins Thursday, January 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. and continues Friday and Saturday, February 1 & 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be held at the Angleton Library, 401 E. Cedar Street.
Volunteers 16 years of age or older are also needed to help with the book sale and the set-up that takes place Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
