The Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee is a state and federally recognized non-profit that is dedicated to ensuring the safety of each resident from Hazmat threats. The Committee uses planning and public information to help reach the goal of an accident-free community.
The Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) normally meets every third Tuesday of the month at 11:30 AM. All local emergency response personnel are encouraged to attend along with representatives from County industry, the press and the public.
There will be no meeting of the LEPC in April due to scheduling conflicts. Subcommittees will meet as they are able. The next Brazoria County LEPC meeting will be on May 21, 2019 at the Sheriff's Office Training Room.
