Mission
Our mission as assigned by the Sheriff is to provide effective and efficient law enforcement, detention, civil and court security services to the residents and visitors of Brazoria County. We aim to provide fair and impartial services, holistically through collaborative partnerships within our office, community and other law enforcement agencies to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Vision
The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) deputies and staff continually strive to be a premier law enforcement agency in the State of Texas. To accomplish this vision, we employ quality, highly-trained personnel and foster dynamic leaders throughout our agency who will achieve this vision through innovation, transparency and accountability to the residents of Brazoria County. BCSO will be the bridge between law enforcement, first responders and members of our community.

New Supervisor Course #3737

  • Introduction: Effective September 1, 2015, House Bill 3211 brought an amendment to Occupations Code 1701.352(d) mandating newly appointed peace officers or those receiving their first supervisory position to undergo in-service training on supervision.
