Public Boat Ramps
The Austin's Bayou Boat Ramp remains closed due to TxDOT construction. There is no access at Austin’s Bayou underneath FM 2004 until the boat ramp, access road, and parking area are repaired.
Boaters should exercise extreme caution if they elect to launch at any county boat ramp during high water levels. All boaters launch at their own risk.
- No overnight camping nor fires permitted
- Boat ramp accessible 24 hours
- Fisherman on shore must yield to boaters at ramp area
- Do not block boat ramp access
- State boating, fishing length, and bag limit laws apply
- Place excess fishing line into recycle bin or trash can
- Loose fishing line kills fish, birds and wildlife
- Vehicle parking in designated areas only
- Do not operate a boat while drinking alcohol
- Boaters must have a life vest (pfd) for every person on board
- No dumping, littering, nor glass bottles//containers
- Please be courteous of other boaters and anglers
- Possession of firearms is subject to all state laws and permit requirements
