Commissioners' Court proclaimed October 2017 as "Breast Cancer Awareness Month". An estimated 252,710 women, as well as 2,470 men, will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year.Commissioners Court urges all Brazoria County women and men, government agencies, private businesses, nonprofit organizations, and all other interested groups to join in activities that will increase awareness of what Americans can do to prevent breast cancer.
