Constable William "Willie" Howell
Before replacing former Constable Scopel by being appointed by then County Judge John Willie in 1999, Constable Willie Howell was an officer with Angelton Police Department as well as a deputy with the Brazoria County Sheriff's Department. Since his early years in Law Enforcement, including his first election campaign in 2000, Constable Howell has faithfully served Precinct 2 and the citizens of Brazoria County for over 37 years.

Aside from the Oath he took to preserve, protect, and defend the citizens of Brazoria County, Constable Willie Howell strives for fairness and compassion for all local citizens of Precinct 2. Continually improving and modernizing his department, Constable Howell works hard to provide the highest quality of service and standards expected of law enforcement officers. Directly through his leadership, Precinct 2 Constable's Office will assist both local and state agencies when called upon as well as provide legal and timely service to all civil and criminal processes received from the Justice Courts, County Courts, District Courts of Texas and other states. |
