Constable James Brawner began serving others by enlisting in the United States Navy after graduating from Danbury High School. During his time serving in the US Navy, Constable Brawner was deployed to different areas of the Middle East.

After getting out of the US Navy, Constable Brawner joined the Brazoria County Sheriff's office as a Deputy Jailer. Constable Brawner worked tirelessly, serving in many different specialized divisions of the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office eventually rising to the rank of Sergeant of the Narcotics Division and oversaw operations of the Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force.

In 2016 Constable Brawner began his campaign for the office of Brazoria County Precinct 4 Constable. On January 1st, 2017 Constable Brawner was sworn into Office and Currently Serves as Your Precinct 4 Constable.

Throughout the years, Constable Brawner has served his Nation, his State and the Citizens of Brazoria County Faithfully.
