Brazoria County Drainage Criteria Manual (May 2022)

For proposed development (Residential or Commercial) within unincorporated Brazoria County where there is no defined Drainage District, drainage plans are required to be submitted for review by the Brazoria County Engineering Department per policy below.

If policy conditions are met, a Letter of No Objections may be issued waiving the requirements for a drainage plan review.

If policy conditions are not met, drainage plan will be sent to a consultant for review at owner’s expense.
