The Brazoria County Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for fire prevention education, code compliance inspections and responds to complaints from citizens in the unincorporated areas of Brazoria County. Fire investigations are conducted for in the unincorporated areas and our office assists local municipalities, Emergency Service Districts (ESD’s) and fire departments when requested by their government representatives.

Effective January 1st, 2019, Brazoria County has adopted the 2018 edition of the International Fire Code with appendix A through N and standards and guidelines referenced within.
