Precinct 3 welcomed 2022 by hosting multiple events for residents:
- Dunes Day Christmas Tree Drop-Off (Ended in January)
- This endeavor benefits Brazoria County beaches which have been impacted by multiple storms.
- Precinct 3 Economic Alliance Tour ( January 31st)
- Pet Food Distribution Pantry (March 29th)
- In partnership with the Houston Humane Society and the City of Pearland benefiting those in need.
The Pearland’s National Junior Honor Society participated in the Dunes Day Project and delivered multiple live Christmas trees to Precinct 3. What a great example of community service!
The awarded 2015 Brazoria County CDBG funds to the City of Alvin are now able to enjoyed at the Ruben Adame Park! The contractor, who originally built the ½ court, constructed the new ½ court for $24,070 and now completes the park.

The Alvin Noon Lions Club hosted Commissioner Adams for their monthly meeting where redistricting maps where shared as well as an update on upcoming projects.
The Alvin-Manvel Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual retreat for their Board of Directors.
Commissioner Stacy Adams serves as an Ex-Officio for the chamber.
BayTran hosted their monthly luncheon where the Gulf Coast Protection District update was given. It was great to see representation from Brazoria County present.

Brazoria County Pct. 3 Officials celebrated Valentine’s Day at the Melvin Knapp Senior Center with a special cookie delivery!
This quarter, Pct. 3 hosted the Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County’s new CEO/President, Patti Worfe. The tour consisted of meetings with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland, City of Pearland, Pearland Economic Development Corporation and Representative Ed Thompson. Lunch included a stop at Grazia Italian Kitchen to meet with folks from Memorial Hermann, Congressman Nehl’s office and the Houston Apartment Association.
The Pearland Chamber of Commerce hosted the students from Pearland ISD’s Dawson High School’s Youth & Government’s Rise and Shine Fundraiser. The kids demonstrated their speaking skills, their passion and dedication towards engaging government.

Commissioner Adams attended and sponsored the Alvin ISD Education Foundation Turtle Race & 5K Family Fun run. Kids from Nolan Ryan Junior High School had the opportunity to participate because of the sponsorship.

Community members joined together to recognize Mayor Emeritus Tom Reid for his years of service to the City of Pearland. Commissioner Adams had the honor of participating in the ceremony.

Congratulations to Alvin resident, Amanda Miles for being sworn in to the Governor Greg Abbott's Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities. Judge Merkel swore Ms. Miles in while accompanied by her mother, Judy Zavalla and long-time family friend, Commissioner Stacy Adams.

The Alvin-Manvel Chamber of Commerce's Ambassador Program held a meeting where Scott Salter was the keynote speaker. He covered the importance of Social Media for businesses.
Residents of Senate District 11 heard from Precinct 3 Commissioner regarding the County Building Expansion, Redistricting and upcoming events.
In partnership with the city of Pearland and the Houston Humane Society, Judge Matt Sebesta and Commissioner Adams hosted a Pet Pantry event. They were able to distribute over 2500 lbs. of food to residents.
The Houston Apartment Association invited staff from the city of Pearland, Brazoria County leadership and community organizations like the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Alliance of Brazoria County for their
"State of the Submarket". This event provided insight on the growth of the county, development and economic impacts for our region.

Commissioner Adams along with BCLS Director Lisa Loranc and Tax Assessor Kristin Bulanek, participated in the "Talk of the Town", a quarterly information session hosted by the city of Pearland and Mayor Kevin Cole. Comm. Adams spoke on partnerships with the city that you may see and others that you don't always see.
The Adult Education Center held it's 18th annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheon where Commissioner Stacy Adams served as a "Celebrity Waiter".
