The Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County hosted their Industry Update in July which turned out to be a 'sold-out' event.
It was great to hear that industry partners, such as Ascends, have sponsored programs like the AISD STEM Bus and the Child Welfare Board's Foster Kids Christmas Party!

Celebrity Reader for Alvin ISD Book Bus

The Alvin ISD Book Bus was the centerpiece during the Education Foundation's End of Summer Bash that was held at the Pearland Town Center in July. 

  

 

Precinct 3's Elected Officials hosted the Alvin Manvel Chamber of Commerce's 'Coffee & Connections' at the North Service Building.
Attendees learned the individual roles that a Constable, Justice of the Peace, and Commissioner plays in a Precinct as well as received a tour of the North Service Building. 

Justice of the Peace Roy Castillo, Constable Buck Stevens, and Commissioner Adams were proud to sponsor the
Dawson High School Cheerleaders Team for their upcoming season! Go Eagles!

It was a a "slobberknocker" of an event at the Pigskin Preview hosted by the Alvin Noon Lions Club!
There was lots of laughs, friendly faces, and football that was covered during the luncheon.

 

Precinct 3's North Service Building was able to host an 'Employee Benefit & Resource Fair' in August.
Various vendors shared with Road & Bridge as well as other Departments that visited.

The 7th Annual Gridiron Luncheon was hosted by the Rotary Club of Pearland and it was a great time with the coaches of the local high schools of Precinct 3 - Alvin, Manvel, and Pearland.

  

Precinct 3 had the privilege of working alongside Davis Days to bring a 'Summer Fun Day' to the kids of Kidz Harbor. 
After the Summer Fun Day, my office was able to coordinate a visit by various Dignitaries to tour the facility and learn more about their history. 

The Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County and the Pearland Chamber of Commerce hosted a great Transportation Meeting that featured TXDOT's Maria Aponte, the Area Engineer.
Brazoria County has 7 bridges that will be let during the summer as well as multiple upcoming projects. 

   

The Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their 'Inaugural Women in Leadership' Luncheon.
Precinct 3's Office Manager, Administrative Assistance, Commissioner, and Chief Administrator were in attendance. 

Vallensons' Brewing Company provided a tour to Brazoria County Dignitaries that included history of the veteran-owned business,
how the pandemic affected sales, expansion of their brewery and the impact of state legislation on craft breweries.
