The Alvin ISD's Book Bus invited Commissioner Stacy Adams to be a Celebrity Guest Reader to kick-off
the Summer Reading Program. The bus parks at various communities and invites the
community to hear from a reader and check-out books. 

Commissioner Stacy Adams hosted an Appreciation Luncheon for the Precinct 3 Road and Bridge employees that included baked potato bar, sno-cones, and updates on the happenings of Brazoria County. 

The Alvin Police Department were thanked by Commissioner Stacy Adams, Judge Roy Castillo, and Representative Ed Thompson by being recipients of a hot lunch during Law Enforcement Appreciation Week. 

Mattress Mack was the keynote speaker during the Pearland Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Graduation. Precinct 3 Intern, Mason Holliday and Commissioner Adams take a moment to snap a picture with Mack and thank him for his years of service to the community. 

During the BayTran luncheon, Commissioner Stacy Adams and Dr. Robin Armstrong chatted about issues affecting both other counties - Brazoria and Galveston. 

The community joined together to lay a field of blue pinwheels in front of the Alvin-Manvel Chamber of Commerce to raise awareness against Child Abuse. The Brazoria County Alliance for Children shared a few words and invited community leaders to wear a pin and speak out against the abuse. 

The Pearland Rotary Club hosted their annual Grid Iron Luncheon that strives to support the Football Teams in Pearland - Oilers, Eagles, and Sharks.

Congratulations to the Pearland High School Softball team on their WIN during the UIL State Championship!
Commissioner Adams presented the team with a Proclamation during the Pearland ISD's Board of Trustees' Meeting, which recognized their dedicated efforts.
