July 23 Commissioners Court Proclamations
Brazoria County Commissioners Court is proud to proclaim July 21 ā July 27 as āPre-Trial, Probation, and Parole Supervision Week.ā This special week is dedicated to our corrections professionals, who work with law enforcement and community agencies, driving positive change in our community.
We urge all Brazoria County citizens to join us in honoring these community corrections professionals. Letās recognize their dedication and celebrate their achievements in making our communities safer.š
Today, Commissioners Court celebrated the life of Gracie Sennette. Gracie, was laid to rest on July 13, 2022, at the age of 98, dedicated her life to her family and community with remarkable compassion and unwavering faith.
In her honor, Gracieās Great Niece, Marce Butler, and lifelong friend, Meni Koulakiotis, launched The Kefi Project. This non-profitās mission is to create a community that provides housing and onsite care for low-income or no-income seniors, embodying the spirit of service Gracie demonstrated throughout her life.ā¤ļø
